RDACC appoints new CEO / DRD

Regional Development Australia Central Coast (RDACC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Lisa Barnes as its new Chief Executive Officer / Director of Regional Development, commencing 6 October 2025.


RDACC Chair, Gail Cottrill, welcomed the appointment, highlighting Dr Barnes’ extensive leadership, experience and deep knowledge of the Central Coast region.


“Dr Barnes brings substantial experience across the Education and Arts sectors, along with a proven track record as a Chief Executive Officer. Her skills, expertise, and understanding of the Central Coast will be invaluable as we continue to drive regional economic and employment growth,” Ms Cottrill said.


“Lisa will play a pivotal role in positioning the Central Coast as a prime destination for investment and innovation, while connecting key stakeholders to develop local solutions that strengthen and grow our regional economy.”


The RDACC Committee also formally acknowledged and celebrated the achievements of Mr John Mouland, who has served as CEO for the past 12 years.


“John’s leadership and dedication over more than a decade has left an enduring impact on our organisation and the Central Coast community. On behalf of the Committee, we sincerely thank him for his service and wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Ms Cottrill added.


Dr Barnes’ appointment marks an exciting new chapter for RDACC as it continues to champion the growth, resilience, and prosperity of the Central Coast region.
